DOTS SERIES
This series celebrates the playful act of seeing the world through the eyes of a child. It reminds us that without a childlike sense of wonder, openness, and imagination, we often miss the beauty of the world as it truly is. In these works, artist Alina Ciuciu enters a realm of fantasy, color, and innocence, capturing the way a child perceives life—with curiosity, freedom, and a heart untouched by limitation.
INTO THE WOODS
This series is created by hitting the canvas with a branch covered in color — a simple gesture, direct and alive. There is no overthinking, no attempt to control every mark. Only movement, impact, and the raw curiosity of what might appear.
The works speak about the simplicity of creation: how nature creates without hesitation, how it multiplies, spreads, breaks, grows, and leaves traces behind. There is something both brutal and beautiful in this process — a reminder that creation is not always gentle or planned. Sometimes it is instinct, force, repetition, and life itself finding a way onto the surface.
SECRETS
is a series of abstract paintings that carries hidden words, symbols, and imaginative writings within the surface. The writings are not meant to be read clearly, but to be felt — like fragments of thoughts, memories, prayers, or stories that exist somewhere between the visible and the invisible. Each work becomes a quiet place of mystery, inviting the viewer to look closer and discover what cannot be fully explained.
THE UNKNOWN
There is something that moves us as human beings — something we cannot fully name, explain, or hold. It is too vast to define, too deep to reduce, too important to cover with words. It lives beneath our thoughts, behind our decisions, in the quiet places where longing, wonder, fear, and hope meet.
The Unknown speaks about this invisible force. The part of life that pulls us forward without revealing itself completely. It reminds us that not everything meaningful can be understood, and not everything sacred needs to be explained.
SACRIFICE “Nails of Resilience”
This body of work, composed of wood and nails, explores sacrifice not as loss, but as a powerful path toward growth, purpose, and fulfillment. Every meaningful pursuit—requires dedication, discipline, and the willingness to give something up for something greater. In a time when things are often quickly discarded rather than repaired or nurtured, this collection honors resilience, commitment, and the beauty of enduring effort. The nails symbolize labor, struggle, and pain, while the colorful dots soften their harshness and bring a sense of lightness, joy, and hope. Together, these works invite the viewer to see sacrifice as a quiet act of devotion through which beauty can unfold.
