The Artists

Sebastian & Alina Ciuciu, a married couple since 2010, transformed a divine message into a thriving art journey. In 2019, a voice urged Alina to buy big brushes and large canvases, and what began as a home experiment in Vienna rapidly turned into an international sensation.

Sebastian’s distinctive style is characterized by poetic intensity and spiritual depth. Working from a repurposed summer pool-turned-studio, he creates evocative pieces that explore the mysteries of human emotion, purpose, and connection. Their work is now part of private collections owned by notable figures, including former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, public personalities, and professional athletes.

Under the creative brand Ciuciu Art, Sebastian and his wife Alina aim to inspire curiosity, positivity, and spiritual connection. Their collaborative approach to art and life is fluid and intuitive, allowing raw emotion and spontaneity to shape their creations. Together, they challenge the boundaries of traditional abstract art, offering a visual language that speaks to the soul and uplifts the human experience.

With a mission to counter negativity through beauty and meaning, they have become known not only for their originality but for the transformative energy their work brings to audiences around the world.

Operating under Ciuciu Art, their goal is to inspire wonder, potential, and creative energy through their art, answering life's big questions visually.

The Studio

The Vienna-based artist couple is working in a space as unconventional as their approach. Their studio, a former swimming pool now enclosed in glass, serves as a bright, raw environment where nature and creativity meet. Here, they create bold, abstract works in a setting that blurs the line between architecture and emotion. Once a place for swimming, now a haven for art—Sebastian and Alina’s Vienna studio tells its own story. Tucked inside a repurposed pool wrapped in glass, their creative world feels like a greenhouse for ideas.

From Vienna to Japan.

Sebastian Ciuciu's video of creating art by striking a canvas with a tree branch became a global sensation, amassing over 240 million views and becoming the most-watched art video worldwide. The viral success attracted international media, including a Japanese film crew who visited his Vienna studio to feature his work in a national television program, highlighting the global impact of his unconventional creative process.
