Medium: wood(burnt surface) and hand-casted bronze chair legs

Carved from a single piece of wood, it preserves the natural imperfections, and history of the tree it came from. The exterior is charred by fire using the technique of wood burning, creating its deep black surface. The interior remains untouched, revealing the warmth and life of the wood beneath.
Its three legs are individually hand-cast in solid bronze. Rather than being designed on paper, they are cast directly from a small tree branch taken from my own garden, preserving every texture and detail of nature in metal.
A functional sculpture. A conversation. A place to pause.
