Medium: pigment from burnt wood on Canvas, painted with a rod from our trees in the garden
Floating Frame: Solid Wood Floating Frame in white
This Painting Series is born out of curiosity and boredom. I walked in our garden while having a new painting ready to paint. I than saw a tree with interesting branches and thought to myself: How interesting would it be to paint the branches and hit the canvas with them. As I started to do it it felt right, easy, childish, without pressure or expectations.
That is the idea of the painting, keep your childish faith, impulsiveness, playfulness and curiosity alive by doing things out of the ordinary. It doesen´t have to be always productive or have a meaning. Just play and be yourself.
The mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size.
